← Back to ProjectsThrough independent user research, I identified a clear market gap. Platforms like Google Maps and Yelp return generic results with no understanding of identity specific travel needs including culture, faith, language, grooming, or diaspora services.
A Black traveler in Copenhagen should not have to scroll through 40 irrelevant barbers. A Christian traveler in Tokyo should not have to guess which churches offer English worship. Every traveler deserves to find services that match their culture, faith, and identity without the struggle of feeling invisible.
TravelBuddy AI uses LLM powered natural language search to interpret traveler identity context and return relevant, culturally tagged recommendations.
The AI parses location, service type, identity needs, cultural context, and language preferences then surfaces the right businesses with an explanation for each recommendation.
User types a travel need in plain natural language with no filters or dropdowns needed.
LLM parses location, identity, cultural context, faith, and language from the query.
